Since the company was founded in 1994, we have been manufacturing molds for the medical industry. Since 2009, we have also produced series parts made of silicone that meet special requirements (regulatory and nomative) in our own hygiene zones.

RICO is certified according to EN ISO 13485:2016, which underscores our quality philosophy and our focus on the medical technology industry. We meet high hygiene requirements throughout the entire production process, enabling us to offer reliable solutions for sensitive applications.

What does EN ISO 13485:2016 certification show?

The ISO 13485 standard serves as a basis for certification in the medical technology industry. It sets out the requirements for a comprehensive quality management system for the design and manufacture of medical products. ISO 13485 is intended as a guarantee of product safety and product effectiveness with regard to the design and manufacture of medical products, and the process of bringing such products onto the market. ISO 13485 also includes security precautions for the storage of patient data.
