Conserving resources, protecting the environment
Plastic is an integral part of our everyday lives. And as a metal and plastics processor, we are fully aware of the responsibilities this brings. So conserving resources and materials is one of our top priorities. RICO’s injection molds and silicone parts stand out for their exceptionally long service lives.
When devising solutions for customers, we also put a strong emphasis on drawing up mold and injection molding concepts that minimize resource consumption and avoid waste. High quality with minimal rejects and waste is important to us. We adhere to this principle in the way we deal with food just as much as we do in production.
We use sustainable, eco-friendly foodstuffs in our canteen. We source our ingredients from regional vegetable and meat suppliers, and we use seasonal produce, much of which is also organically grown. Our employees order meals in advance, so we ensure that exactly the right quantities of food are prepared, which avoids waste.
Measures aimed at conserving resources and protecting the environment are in place throughout the company, and employees are required to use the available resources carefully. This is reflected in our certification in accordance with the ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
